She is my 6 the great grandmother. I am Kanien’Kehaka, I have read all sources over the past 15 years. I have all these sources individually plus my own clan's mythology. We didn't write down our lineage it is told by family in story. Do I need to site my living relatives as the ancestral keepers? Using AI made it easier to compile the information I already know. Nah, I know my family and we know who we are. I spent a year with them in Canada. We don't keep records like colonists, our source is from story and song, passed down generationally. People can make up what they want, but we personally don't condone native fantasy or tales considered true because the white man wrote them down as lineage. People are entitled to believe what they want, but on the page it would be nice to be allowed to explain why the Hertel lineage is not linked to OTS-TOCH. HG369 (talk) 04:28, 27 March 2026 (UTC)

The world believes what it wants. I am not going to upset my family or the rest of the 6 Nations. Let Hertel tell takes. The sources I listed are legit, mi don't have hours to go and pick them out, and honestly it is not that big of a deal. People believe what they want, and that is their right..
