Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

- Yes - you reverted so you could add sources. Then it sat for over an hour and nothing was done. Put simply, you should not have restored the bad sources unless you were going to immediately replace them with good sources. If you were still looking for the sources, you should not have restored until they were ready. We cannot leave an article sitting with unsourced or poorly sourced content - we restore the last good version until we can make an edit to improve it.

- And responding to the note on my talk page (which I have reverted because the discussion is here) - everything is preserved in the page history. You do not need to restore a version to be able to edit it, rather you can navigate to the version you wish to restore in the page history, make the edits you need to, and publish that version. - @GabFranco938: going by the restoration of the bad edit I assume you are ready with the sources you wish to add? Again, we cannot leave the bad version live while you go out and hunt for sources - the order of operations is the other way round. Danners430 tweaks made 08:51, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but what is the hostility for? Like what you have mentioned, I am NEW here. I'm trying to fix it, but you are trying to throw it ALL into the trash! At least help me out! I see you have a history of removing MOST of a few people's work over ONE silly or SMALL or BAD source, come on, chill, it's not like you know it. PERSONALLY, I MYSELF am a Masbateno, I KNOW my stuff about the ISLAND OF MASBATE. Who are YOU to say I barely know stuff about my OWN RESIDENCE? GabFranco938 (talk) 09:00, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- I have explained below the correct way to update the article. Black Kite (talk) 09:04, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- hey there, may i ask, how do i recover a edit conflict, thanks in advance GabFranco938 (talk) 09:07, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- If you go into the page history (the History link next to Edit), find the version you want to edit and click on the link to open that version of the page. From there click Edit, and you'll be editing that version - not the latest version. Danners430 tweaks made 09:12, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

- My friend, I've tried to explain what options you have here and what the problem is. The problem is leaving a version of the page live for over an hour with unreliable sources. I did deliberately leave the page live for that amount of time in the expectation that you would replace the sources - when you didn't is when I restored the last good version.
- Wikipedia works on the basic principle of reliable sources - it's one of the fundamental principles of the site. This isn't meant to be aggressive, but it's a truth - your personal knowledge unfortunately doesn't count for anything. I know lots about various articles - but unless I have a reliable source to back up my own personal knowledge, that knowledge remains original research.
- I've tried to give you options for how you can make the edit:
- Navigate to the edit you made in the page history and edit that version directly - when you publish it will overwrite the newer version(s).
- Find the sources taking the time you need, then restore your version and add the sources immediately - this is what I was expecting when I left your version up for over an hour; but over an hour is far too long to leave the bad sources live. The expectation is you're ready to make the edits when you restore.
- Copy the page to your Sandbox and make the edits there as suggested by Black Kite - your sandbox is your own personal space to be used for whatever you like (as long as it's within policy) - making test edits is literally what it's for. Danners430 tweaks made 09:11, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Danners430 look, my point is, I can't recover my already complete table with the correct sources due to a edit conflict where you reverted my revesion and when I was going to publish mine, it just disappeared, I swear I really can't, it's so annoying, following one's order and then its thrown to the abyss of nothingness, I have lost all my hope and I don't want to work on this further, the table itself is correct, just fix it yourself instead of actually throwing it all away, I spent 2 hours researching ya know, I know I should've put it on my sandbox page first but, like I said I'm new, I'm crumbling right now, omd GabFranco938 (talk) 11:27, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

Using your sandbox
editHi, the best way to do this is to copy the article into your sandbox (see the link at the top of your page) and then you can work on the part you want to change as you wish. When you are happy with it, you can copy that part back into the live article. Thanks, Black Kite (talk) 08:54, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
