Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. In the future, it's best not to duplicate articles. I see you were given a message about when your prior edits were reverted, so I can understand your confusion. Translation attribution must be done in an edit summary

You don't need to request to create a new article for this, you can be bold and add the changes to the existing one! Wikipedia doesn't really "replace" one article with another.
