Soft redirect speedy?
Heya! Just noticed your vote on my RFD for Friedrich von Friedeburg, and wanted to say: if you ever start a discussion at WT:CSD proposing a special criteria for soft redirects to interlanguage wikis, can you please let me know? I am very interested in such an idea. Jalen Folf (talk) 23:54, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
Warnings
There's actually a specific warning for attacking editors that you might not be aware of {{uw-npa1}} and further escalations exist when people do stuff like this . Not a huge deal (you're obviously doing the right thing reverting personal attacks like that) but I thought you might be interested in knowing that for the future. I hope you have a good day, Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 18:04, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
Your signature
Your signature has inadequate contrast and is in violation of policy, see WP:SIGAPP. Please darken the green. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 05:52, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
- I have been using my signature for a month, and other users have not complained. FAdesdae378 18:59, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
- Regardless of whether other users have complained, your signature is in violation of the WP:SIGAPP behavioral guideline and MOS:COLOR policy. You are on notice of the violations, and if you do not comply then you could be subject to administrative action. I advise that you comply with all applicable guidelines and policies. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 21:54, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- The red, green, and blue in my signature are the primary colors of most electronic displays. The red represents my user page; who I am and my userboxes. The green represents the nice messages and awards others sent on my talk page. The blue represents the numerous helpful contributions I made. I understand the five pillars and the policies and guidelines of Wikipedia. I am here to achieve Wikipedia's goals. My contributions are intended to improve the encyclopedia. FAdesdae378 22:14, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, it seems you do not understand that you must conform to all policies. Make the green darker to comply with MOS:COLOR in your signature and also in the display of your username on your user page and talk page. If you do not do so, I will have to report you to WP:ANI for refusing to comply with the policy on legibility. Editing is only one part of being an editor; civility, inclusion, and working with others are also very important parts. I am trying to work with you, so please heed what SmokeyJoe and I are saying; the green you use does not have enough contrast to be legible for those users who have colorblindness or other vision disabilities. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 22:37, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- I changed my signature to have a gray background. I understand that I must conform to policies. FAdesdae378 22:42, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- This is still unreadable. PRAXIDICAE🌈 22:45, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- That actually made it worse since the red and blue are now illegible. If you were to simply use a darker value of green, e.g. #008800, that should suffice. There are sites linked from MOS:COLOR where you can test color combinations until it meets requirements. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 22:49, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- I changed my signature to a normal one. FAdesdae378 (talk · contribs) 22:51, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- Please also do the same to the display of your username on your user and talk pages. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 22:57, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

I again ask that you alter the display of your username on your user and talk pages to comply with MOS:COLOR. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 23:04, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Hey there! I've started a second discussion on the eligibility of the 2022 Haitian crisis article for ITN, and since you participated in the previous discussion, I thought you might like to provide your input. Thank you! —Matthew - (talk) 22:14, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
