Hi Elvisisalive95! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, Help with Draft, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Bjelleklang was:
This does not seem to be a style of acting notable enough to warrant its own article. Instead, this should be merged into the article on Nicolas Cage unless multiple sources can be found which discuss it. Keep in mind that the sources should not be in the form of interviews or similar, where his statements are more or less repeated with no commentary.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Nouveau Shamanic and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
If you now believe the draft cannot meet Wikipedia's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Please go to Draft:Nouveau Shamanic, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{Db-g7}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.
If you do not make any further changes to your draft, in 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.

Metal-Head
Latest comment: 2 years ago5 comments2 people in discussion
Hi, I have a question about your edits to Metal-Head. You reverted the redirect and took off the merge template, saying, "Discussion can’t be closed after just one conclusive vote."
The article had an AfD discussion last week, which you unfortunately didn't participate in. The discussion ended as Merge. I don't like it when articles get redirected either, but you have to go by the results of the AfD discussion. Is there a reason why you're going against the AfD consensus? Toughpigs (talk) 18:07, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
I unfortunately did not see the discussion in question and I would’ve argued that there are sufficient sources which merit Metal-Head remaining its own article. In my experiences on Wikipedia, a discussion cannot be closed after one person conclusively votes & another gives an either or as their vote. I don’t believe the discussion had sufficient time and votes or consensus to have been closed when dealing with such a big removal of content. Elvisisalive95 (talk) 18:43, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
Yeah, I agree that was probably closed too early; in my opinion, it should have been relisted for another week. If you want to, you can ask people to review the close at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Maybe they'll open it up again. Thanks for your response; I appreciate it. Toughpigs (talk) 19:12, 19 May 2024 (UTC)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by SL93 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:James Kall and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Colman2000 (talk) is wishing you a Happy 4th of July! On this day, we recognize our independence from Great Britain with the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, which ultimately paved the way to our freedom.
