Your submission at Articles for creation: The Neville Brothers (Album) (August 15)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by AngusWOOF were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The proposed article does not have sufficient content to require an article of its own, but it could be merged into the existing article at The Neville Brothers. Since anyone can edit Wikipedia, you are welcome to add that information yourself. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Article does not indicate how it is independently notable from the main discography. Needs album reviews and charting/reception.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

The comment the reviewer left was:
Most of your sources you used don't count as reliable, secondary, sources. You have books written by him, that count as primary, and you have news articles written by him, that count as primary, and don't even mention himself in the article anyway. Then, you have "about" pages, which are considered primary. In order for it to be accepted, you have to use reliable, secondary, sources, which would be news article written solely about him, or something he did, not news articles he wrote about something else.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

The comment the reviewer left was:
Notability requires significant coverage in multiple independent reliable secondary sources; arguably, none such is cited here. Also, the sections on this person's books (making up the majority of the article) could be removed, given separate articles on the books themselves.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

The comment the reviewer left was:
I'm going to have to decline this again. The four primary sources cited are nowhere near enough to establish general WP:GNG notability, and I can see nothing that goes even close to specific WP:AUTHOR notability either.

Also, much of the content is unsupported by citations, so it isn't clear where the information is coming from.

If there is anything unclear about notability, citing sources, or other topics, please ask eg. at the WP:TEAHOUSE or on my talk page.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
