Request for Help

edit

Hello,

As requested, the translation of the below sentence in occitan language (provençal dialect):

"D'efèct, Dièu a tant amat lo monde qu'a balhat son dròlle solet per que cu que siègue crèsia en eu non perissa pas mai aguesse la vida eternala."

"En effet, Dieu a tant aimé le monde qu'il a donné son Fils unique afin que quiconque croit en lui ne périsse pas mais ait la vie éternelle."

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Limbu template

edit

Hi Dave. I'm running into a problem with the Limbu template you created. I'd like to control the font size but can't figure out how to get the template from overriding it. For example {{Script|Limbu|ᤁ}} {{large|{{Script|Limbu|ᤁ}}}} {{huge|{{Script|Limbu|ᤁ}}}} shows the same font size: .
It looks like the template checks "small" and "size" but I can't seem to get that to work. Do you know how I can pass parameters to the template to prevent the font size override?
By the way, I can fudge it by putting the size within the Script template as in {{Script|Limbu|{{huge|ᤁ}}}} () but that seems like a kludge. Thanks. DRMcCreedy (talk) 21:48, 31 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Katherine L Schaeffer moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Katherine L Schaeffer. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. SatnaamIN (talk) 03:01, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your request for Hutterite text

edit

Usually I'm very reluctant to install an app when I'm contacted by someone I don't know, but this seems legit. John 3:16 in this texts version of Hutterite German is: "In der Weg hot Gutt di Welt gliebt dos er sa anzign Sun hot gebm, su dos ola wos af ihn glaubn, nit wen verluedn weadn, ober wean es eawiga Lebm hobm." Hope this helps. I'm very surprised the author has only made this information available in the form of a platform-specific app rather than posting it in the form of a website.
