Not vandalism

edit

Information icon Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please see what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 18:03, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

You claim that "no one could see it as" yet that is exactly how I saw it. You did not attribute your words to yourself, you posted an accusation without reason or explaination. there was no way to identify any one, other than me had written it. you somehow accuse me of doing wrong by reading and understanding policy. This looks exactly like talk page vandelism to me and i see no "NOT" that would apply. BEFSTCp (talk) 18:37, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
My apologies. I stand by my confusion, but not my reaction. I have never seen, or read about anything tagged to the bottom of a talk topic yet. The layout made it look like it was added directly to the comment, I thought I had accidentally posted an image myself until i saw the link! BEFSTCp (talk) 19:40, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
OK, what is that thing? It doesnt look like a comment. Now its in the middle of everything. Is it some sort of tag? BEFSTCp (talk) 20:02, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
