Al Quds vs. Jerusalem

edit

I understand the reasons behind wanting to change the name of the article. However, consensus has been to keep the name as Jerusalem with Al Quds redirecting to that article. A cut-and-paste move is not acceptable and any consideration of renaming must be reached by consensus. Alansohn (talk) 20:59, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

what must I do in order to persuade people of the necessity to change the name? I am new here, help. ArabKh (talk) 21:01, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Read Help:Moving a page on how to go about changing a page's name. There is a process and it requires consensus from the userbase. PumeleonT 21:05, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
