Question

I am starting to feel like you edit everything I edit... TheHelpfulJelp (talk) 21:15, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

@TheHelpfulJelp, I'm sorry that you think so but that is not the case. However, when you edit one page which I was keeping a watch on (the star icon on the side), without any reason being given or any added references, I check other recent edits as a rule. And I don't feel your edits to these recent pages were helpful so I undid them. I hope you understand its nothing personal.
I would suggest, with regards to categories, you use WP:HOTCAT rather than manually add them in. And please start adding edit summaries on large edits. Its easy to forget but its worth trying to. And I note that I'm not the only one to tell you so. Please try and make it a habit.
Hope you have a good day! Omnis Scientia (talk) 21:27, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
are you keeping a watch on every page I edit TheHelpfulJelp (talk) 21:30, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I don't wish to be rude but did you read any of the rest of what I've written? Omnis Scientia (talk) 21:30, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
yes TheHelpfulJelp (talk) 22:03, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Then you have your answer and I have nothing more to add to my reasoning. I'm sorry if you're unhappy if I undid three of your recent edits which I felt were unhelpful but it was not personal. And next time, if you have an issue with an edit being undid, take it to the article's talk page, not to the talk page of the editor who did so. Bye. Omnis Scientia, if you see this sock pop up again (and they will return), please let me know.-- Ponyobons mots 20:25, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Ponyo, of course! Thank you for letting me know as well, I didn't know they were a sock! Omnis Scientia (talk) 20:30, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Ifan Meredith moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Ifan Meredith. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boynamedsue (talk) 19:59, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to set Preferences Editing Editor Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary). Thanks! SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 13:33, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

@SNUGGUMS, thank you for the reminder! Often, when I am doing big but uncontroversial edits I forget to add them at the end. Its a bad habit I'm afraid! Omnis Scientia (talk) 13:41, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Sure thing, and the more often you implement them for future edits even when they only constitute minor changes, the better. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 13:43, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Of course! :) Omnis Scientia (talk) 13:44, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Dominion Line when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify ‹See TfM›|some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The ‹See TfM›|some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you.
