Hello, I'm Greyjoy. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of countries in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. editIf you insist that Luna Ki shouldn’t be there, it has to look like this, cause this was their draws. Don’t you think this looks pretty stupid?
Hi, it would be pretty nice if you stopped deleting Luna Ki from the list of competing acts in Semi-final 1 cause no one performed first in the show cause she was meant to, if that means that you write the wrong draws to each participant, Varry Brava openend the show as 2, and then it goes like this till Chanel closes as 7, and not 6. 83.93.189.28 (talk) 13:12, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
Moving draft to mainspace
editHi! If you think a draft article is ready for mainspace, it's better to use the move tool rather than to create the article anew in mainspace, as you did at Netherlands in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Dancing Lasha Tumbai into Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. editThe numbers of votes you added multiple are unsourced. I tried to find a source, but it seems only the vote share and the total number of votes have been published. Please avoid re-adding content if you cannot provide a source for it. Estimating numbers based on percentages is original research. Also, whenever you feel strongly about anything, please discuss first instesd of silently reverting (the BRD cycle). For example, you just again reverted "Vote share" to "Percentage", althoigh I noted in the past how "Percentage" without context doesn't mean anything, thus not being helpful to readers. Sorry
editI only just now have noticed you had mentioned me at talk:Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, no notification was sent probably because you added the mention later; sorry about that. I felt removing the longlist was removing essential info on the selection procedure, though you had a point about the percentages in the wildcard table. Since then I have reduced the size of the tables because it did feel like they were in the way of the main participants table. ~ IvanScrooge98 (talk) 08:43, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

Relevance Formula
editHi! I wanted to ask about your recent edit on this article. Could you please explain why you thought that information was irrelevant and how you reached that conclusion?-- Nurtenge (talk) 11:45, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, @Nurtenge! I recognise and appreciate the effort you put into adding this table to the page. However, I have classified it as irrelevant and have chosen to remove it for the following reasons:
- this information plays little to no part in understanding the final result (which is itself presented right above), it is a tally dependent solely on the time the vote was cast, rather than reflecting any distinct method of casting the vote or anything that could make its separate display justified, meaning it's simply trivial, which makes it unsuitable for Wikipedia per MOS:TRIVIA,
- there is no precedent of creating such "pre-show" and "during the show" voting splits for similar event articles (though the first point alone is sufficient to exclude it).
- This is how I reached a conclusion in this specific case. Each addition to the page is examined separately. Agwjkl (talk) 12:20, 13 October 2025 (UTC)

Potential host countries of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026
editI added a section on who could host Junior Eurovision 2026, listing 4 potential host countries based on recent information and also citing other times the winning country refused to host the next edition (Italy giving it to Bulgaria in 2015 and France giving it to Spain in 2024) as a precedent.
Usually the EBU invites the runner-up of the previous edition to host the contest, but this won't be possible as Ukraine can't host the contest due to the ongoing Russian invasion, which puts us in a new position compared to other recent editions. This leaves Georgia (who finished in 3rd place) and Armenia (who finished in 4th place), who were only a couple points behind Ukraine, as likely hosts for the EBU to invite given the fact that both countries have hosted the contest already; both have since 2022.
Then, there's also North Macedonia and San Marino whose broadcasters have openly confirmed their interest in hosting a future contest. SMRTV announced in September 2025 that it wants to host in 2026, meanwhile MRT is in discussions with the EBU to host in 2027, however this could be redirected to 2026 given that France has decided not to host the contest next year. These sources are coming from the broadcasters themselves.
I understand why some this may can be seen as speculative, but we have sources confirming MRT and SMRTV's intentions to host a future Junior Eurovision, and have plausible reasons to mention Armenia and Georgia potentially hosting the contest given their history and considering how the EBU normally selects the next host for JESC (again using 2015 and 2024 as examples as all other editions since 2013 have been hosted by the winner of the previous edition, except 2018 which was announced before the 2017 contest had finished and as such isn't applicable as an example here).
Overall, given the unusual circumstances of next year's Junior Eurovision and the fact that France has opted out and Ukraine can't do it, I think it's important to include a section about who could be host and there is a lot of speculation about it and this helps establish what we know so far. Rquinn19 (talk) 21:10, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Rquinn19 Hello. I understand your edits were made in good faith and aim to provide context about possible outcomes of the host country selection process (if one is held). However, Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought (see talking points below), nor an indiscriminate collection of information as your additions treat it by including excessive context.
- Most of the points in your edit are either unsupported or irrelevant. Ukraine's loss of hosting rights for the adult contest in 2023 has no impact on the junior contest in 2026 and no source has been provided to suggest otherwise. While MRT has confirmed discussions about hosting the 2027 edition in North Macedonia, this does not concern 2026 and there is currently no information indicating any acceleration in this regard. Armenia and Georgia are purely speculative, so I will not even comment on them.
- San Marino's expression of willingness to host, announced in September, is the most relevant point; however, it is already mentioned elsewhere in the article and there is no indication that an open bidding process for 2026 is planned. Their statement did not confirm an intention to submit a bid, only a general interest in hosting, which is too vague to conclude as definitive.
- For these reasons, I stand by my decision not to include this material on the page and I do not consider my edits to be controversial. Agwjkl (talk) 21:29, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
Bulgaria in the ESC 2026
editHello, I wanted to clear up a misunderstanding regarding the page in question. What I meant was not the addition of the “c,” which was mistakenly left over from the Italian transliteration (which comes from my main project field), but the fact that every source related to the selection defined it as “Natsionalnata,” and not as “Natsionalna” as user Dan agent06 insisted on inserting into the page more than once.
After that change, I personally took it upon myself to leave a warning about possible vandalism on their talk page, kindly asking them to refrain from inserting their POV, despite the fact that various sources attest to the opposite.
I hope this has cleared up any confusion :) « Ðømīnīk • Cåpuån » 16:51, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
You have recently made edits related to living or recently deceased subjects of biographical content on Wikipedia articles. This is a standard message to inform you that living or recently deceased subjects of biographical content on Wikipedia articles is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:27, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
Hi
editCristian Tarcea is Monoir, he's the producer of this song and first writer, the others are just his collaborators. If you click on Monoir, there's his name. He is a known writer in the region. The song belongs to the dance genre present in Romania, check Monoir, it's no Norwegian style.
You're implying that Monoir is not the producer, but he handled absolutely everything. Dara was signed in 2019 by his Romanian label and another Romanian label bigger. .karellian-24 (talk) 03:30, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- @.karellian-24 Yes, he is Monoir, so what? And how in the world am I implying that Monoir isn't the producer? The standard practice we have been using is to use the legal names of songwriters when they have an existing page (as Monoir does on Romanian Wikipedia), not stage names. Eurovision credits are based on songwriting, not production, and the formatting across other articles reflects that standard. Your edits don’t have any basis and are creating inconsistency with the rest of the coverage. Whatever Monoir's involvement in the production may have been is irrelevant in this context, what matters here are the official songwriting credits. I do not care what Monoir did for this song. Agwjkl (talk) 03:37, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- Also, please do not disrupt the formatting that has been adopted all throughout for this year. If we have been using alphabetical order by names, then changing it specifically to elevate one contributor over others is not appropriate or reasonable. Please stick to the established format. Agwjkl (talk) 03:39, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, no problem, just keep my improved version. He's known by the name of Monoir, when you click on his name you can see his name Cristian Tarcea. He's totalising billions on YouTube, with some major hits in South-Eastern Europe, just that his page is not updated. Mainly he's a producer and writer, not so much a singer. He's still very young and is producing since adolescence. .karellian-24 (talk) 03:43, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- @.karellian-24 Again, you are disputing the standard that has been applied consistently across all themed articles this year. Wikipedia is not a platform for promotion and the current edits appear to be introducing emphasis that is not supported by the established convention. Please adhere to the agreed formatting and editorial standard so that the article remains consistent with the rest of the coverage and don't waste more time on this. Agwjkl (talk) 03:47, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- What standard? I'll keep his real name, but his page remains. Otherwise, I'll insinuate that you're trying to hide things! I'll also mention who the producer is in the introduction. Are you a member of the Norwegian company? Because I'm not connected to music, but to sports. .karellian-24 (talk) 03:54, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- @.karellian-24 Genuinely, what are you talking about? What Norwegian company? The standard here is about consistent formatting and presentation across similar articles. Please focus on the established conventions being used across these articles rather than attributing motives. There is already an interlanguage link to his Romanian Wikipedia article at the top of the page anyway, the blue link format you are introducing is not typical.
- If you have a desire to improve Monoir's coverage, that can be done through creating his article on English Wikipedia or by explicitly noting production roles where they are relevant, such as on the "Bangaranga" page. However, that is separate from how songwriting credits are formatted here. At the moment, the changes being made are introducing inconsistency where there is already a clear convention. Agwjkl (talk) 04:00, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- I don't have time, Monoir's work is 10 times larger than what's on the Romanian Wikipedia. That's why I redirected it to his Romanian page.
- If you think it's a convention, do what you want, but it's embarrassing that the producers aren't mentioned. And you don't want Tarcea to be redirected to Monoir, it's common on Wikipedia, it's legal to put pages in other languages.
- I'm tired of conventions, when now everything is professional and I just added the link to his name and the producers. There is no such dance music in Norway or in North. It's similar to everything that has been taken out of Romania in the past 20 years. The company page where Wik works is promotional. Monoir is legit and in trend since many years although he's still young. .karellian-24 (talk) 04:07, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- @.karellian-24 You do not have to read this if you "don't have time", but I am making sure I am conveying everything clearly for the sake of communication.
- Again, I do not care who contributed how much to this song or where this style of music originates from. Only the relevant credits matter in the context of Eurovision formatting conventions and what you are introducing is simply trivial in the context of Bulgaria's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, which is the subject of the article. The interlanguage link already does exactly what you are (I think? Your previous response does not make it very clear anymore) trying to introduce, by linking to the Romanian Wikipedia page of Monoir using established cross-language formatting. That is the most appropriate mechanism for this within Eurovision-based contexts. Agwjkl (talk) 04:15, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
