edit

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:28, 15 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Text-source integrity

edit

I saw your recent edit on Politics of Botswana, and I'm worried it introduced some text-source integrity issues. Generally speaking, content shouldn't be added to an article unless it's something found in a reliable source, and it's a major problem when content is added in a cited paragraph but can't be found in the source that was previously cited. Good day. Thank you for reaching out to me. You make a good point; however, I must say that much of the content in the lede of the article is largely repeated and cited in the body of the article. If possible, could you please indicate which specific parts require citations so I can affix citations where necessary? Thanks. Aficionado538 (talk) 21:29, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
The examples that stood out to me were "such as Bathoen II" which misrepresents the source (Bathoen isn't even mentioned on those pages) and "Ministers within Cabinet make major decisions collectively" which doesn't have a citation at all. And all content in the lead should be cited in the body of the article, any that isn't should be removed. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 🛸 21:59, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Okay thanks for letting me know. I'll add citations and remove uncited sentences once I get the time to do so. Have a good day :) Aficionado538 (talk) 23:07, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I have added the citations. Thanks. Aficionado538 (talk) 16:21, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Republicans (France), a link pointing to the disambiguation page Causeur was added.

MPs serve from the date they are elected. Swearing-in takes place about a week later. Aficionado538 (talk) 02:17, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
