What are some constructive things I can do on my talk page?

What is with Wikipedia editors and current internet trends?
editAlthough it is really annoying when my friends say it and makes me wanna throw them to the moon, I wanted them to keep the 6-7 article. Earlier today, the 6-7 article was saved from deletion. That got me wondering. Why are Wikipedia users so sensitive towards internet phenomena. I mean, just look at the Chromebook needle thingy. It was a significant challenge and caused fires, but then editors pushed WP:NOTNEWS onto the article and treated it like some small fad and now it’s redirected. Another time, I found out that the gallon smashing has been redirected and when I went to the discussion, it was for notability reasons. What is with Wikipedia editors and Thomas characters?
editNearly all of the characters of TTTE are redirected except for the titular tank engine and James. I had just now learned that the Henry article was redirected, and this user 94.175.6.205 was not happy. I also found out that the Diesel page was redirected.
How can you make articles about a very extremely legendary kids TV series about a blue tank engine yet still shove notability up the gasses of nearly ALL the articles of the characters? Does Wikipedia think that Thomas is some obscure piece of sheet show that’s not notable?
