History
editThey're known for their minimalist design. A blue or green body made from luminescent material with a circular head and neutral/consistent facial expression.[1] Smiskis were designed to represent creatures secretly living in people's homes, completing everyday tasks, only revealing themselves in the dark.[1]
Unlike the Sonny Angle figurines, Dreams Inc. aimed to expand their target audience, which at the time mostly consisted of 25-35 aged women.[1] Smiskis more "gender neutral" design seems to be appealing to both women and men.[1]
They're small collectibles, ranging from about 2.5 to 3 inches tall.[1]
They attach using an adhesive feature that allows them to stick to objects like laptops, picture frames, and desks.[2]
In general, each series has about six regular designs and one secret figure, for a total of seven different designs per series.[1]
In 2025, Smiskis also marked their 10th anniversary with the release of a new series titled Birthday Series.[3]

editEach blind box is priced between $12.25 and $13.75 USD.[4] Assorted boxes for each series contain twelve blind boxes and range from $147.00 to $165.00 USD.[4]
