I began editing really around late 2025. Before than I used my user sandbox as a sort of playground. Occasionally, I see things I feel I can add to, and add to them. I'm interested in early and high medieval history. That's all. My sandbox. Today, on April 7 2026, I reached 1,000 edits.

Articles to read
editI’m not a significant contributor to these but they’re good articles about interesting people/events. These figures are intended to be lesser-known.
Ulfcytel – Famous to his contemporaries for his military prowess, he was one of the most influential thegns in East Anglia during 1000s. Gave the forces of Sweyn Forkbeard heavy losses in 1004.
Ralph IV of Valois – Powerful French magnate in the 11th century. He was married multiple times and acquired an array of independent lordships around the Ile-de-France. He also died excommunicated.
Louis IV of France – Inherited the weakening French crown in 936 and spent much of his reign fighting over the overbearing influence of Hugh the Great and his allies. Despite his efforts, Otto the Great grew to command significant influence. His reign was not a total failure; in spite of much force to the contrary, he maintained at least some royal powers.
