Battle for Dream Island: The Movie[a] is an upcoming Canadian action animated film directed and produced by Wikiman2230 from Wikiman Films. Based on the show of the same name, the movie takes place after the events of "She Deserves This" and into "Welcome Back", where One, an algerbralien, come and cause the rift to occur much earlier in an alternate scenario.
The film was announced sometime in April 2026, where the idea for the film was concepted, and began development in May 2026. The film is scheduled to release in the Summer of 2035, and will premiere onto YouTube.
Premise
editSet between the events of "She Deserves This" and "Welcome Back", an algebralien by the name of One appears and causes the timeline to shift by a lot, causing a hole in the sky called the Rift to form. The contestants must stop One before the universe destroys all of mankind.

editBattle for Dream Island was created in January 2010 by twin brothers Cary and Michael Huang and animated on Adobe Flash. The twins previously made several other animations and minigames prior, with them creating The Scale of the Universe.
Wikiman Films
editWikiman Films was created in April 2026 following the creation of The Pineapple Story, a cancelled live action film from a planned trilogy featuring inanimate objects. During editing for the film, the film was announced to be cancelled following the deletion of footage by mistake, and a new idea came through for adapting the animated web series Battle for Dream Island as a film.

The film was announced in late April 2026 following an announcement on the Battle for Dream Island sub reddit on Reddit. Originally, the film was going to be based on stopping One during TPOT. However it was changed shortly after to avoid confusion with the TPOT trilogy.
Planning and casting for the film began in the same month. During Mid May, a voice actor was picked for the main villain, and screenwriting for the film began. Additionally, storyboarding for the film also began. A budget was set with $5.20.
A release date was announced for Late 2027 or Early 2028, however it was moved to the Summer of 2035. An exact release date however is unknown. It is possible that the film could release in June. The film will be premiered onto YouTube.
Advertising
editA teaser poster was created for the film, and was advertised through the Battle for Dream Island subreddit on Reddit. Additional posters were also created as well, depicting characters within the film as blank white. An official poster was created on May 31, 2026, depicting One with a furious emotion.
