Why hello there! As you can see, I am Vox Rationis (Latin for Voice of Reason, formerly Vox Causa). I live in Ormond Beach, Florida, and I am currently attending Mainland High School. I have an avid love for physics, but also enjoy computer gaming, swimming (I am a member of my high school swim team) and Wikipedia. If you want to tell me something, leave me a note on my talk page, but nothing malicious, because I will probably delete it as vandalism. My current projects are listed below.
The American woodcock (Scolopax minor) is a small shorebird in the sandpiper family, Scolopacidae. It is found mainly in the eastern half of North America, where it is the most common sandpiper, although unlike most other species it lives primarily in upland woods, thickets, and brushy wetlands. Its plumage is a mottled mix of brown, gray and black that provides effective camouflage against leaves and soil. The American woodcock has a plump body, short legs, large eyes set high on the head, and a long prehensile bill used to probe moist soil for earthworms and other invertebrates. Males are known for their spring courtship displays, giving a buzzy peent call before spiraling into the air. The species is considered of least concern globally, but its population has declined because of habitat loss and forest maturation. This American woodcock was photographed in Bryant Park, New York City, United States.Photograph credit: Rhododendrites
As you may see, I am a member of several groups throughout Wikipedia. Most notably, I belong to Stub Sorting and the Counter Vandalism Unit. The CVU is the more important of the two, as it is responsible for keeping Wikipedia {relatively} free of blatant vandalism. Stub Sorting is also a necessary group, as many of the group aren't doing the job, and we now have a backlog of over 3000 stubs to be sorted...Please join if you have the patience, we need help!

In Firefox, the search box has a little pull down menu to allow you to choose which search engine it uses. Several popular search engines come included, but not Wikipedia. However, Firefox provides a page on their website listing more search engines you can add to that menu, including Wikipedia's search. To add Wikipedia, simply go here and click on Wikipedia in the list provided, and you are done. To activate it, pull-down the menu at the search box and click on Wikipedia there. Now you have a second Wikipedia search box. Unlike the search box in Wikipedia's sidebar, which disappears off the screen when you scroll down to read a long page, the Firefox search box always remains on the screen, ready to assist. (Keep in mind, typing Alt+F also places the cursor in the Wikipedia search box.)
