I am Unit_72. Of course, by unit, I do not mean the slang term. I mean it rather as maybe a unit to deploy or a unit of technology. But in all reality, many usernames mean not as much as the person who inhabits the name, and the meaning of the name might change with the meaning of the user.
I'm a typically casual editor that sometimes goes into fits of obsession with one page or another, such as protecting it or overhauling it to meet GA or FA standards. I can be very passionate about a page, but that's just because I'm a perfectionist and don't want wrongfully included or excluded information. I usually back up my arguments with reason, sometimes direct references to sourcing.
My favorite part about Wikipedia is the effect your edits can have on others, and how improving an article can improve the quality of information across the internet. My least favorite part is sourcing, but that is nearly universal. I've recently unlocked The Wikipedia Library, and so now can source with more accuracy and quality; I hold my sources to a very high standard, especially if adapting an article for GA or FA.
My personal preferences, although they might not directly correlate to what pages I edit or do not edit, include stars (and space), dragons (I have quite the prodigious knowledge and interest), literature (especially fantasy, sci-fi, scientific, or philosophical), music, science, and ideas. I value creativity, imagination, and intelligence.
