editThis userbox has been created for atheist wikipedians to honor the people of the Hellenic, Roman, Hellenistic and Graeco-Roman World, in general the so called ancient Pagan World, including of course non Greeks and non Romans per se, their syncretic and hence much less dogmatic or divisive religions and religiosity, their philosophers, thinkers, artists, authors, scientists, engineers, in face of the mayhem that was brought upon them by the new order of the new - highly exclusive state- religion of the Roman Empire which killed or persecuted them and destroyed or forcefully closed down or ended their Temples, Art, Books, Celebrations, Festivities and Schools or Universities of the time (e.g. Olympic Games, Delphi Temple, Serapeum, Academy).
