On the 8th of march 2022, international women's day, at the time still a Film and Literature student, I read an article from the NOS. That article was about the lack of Wikipedia pages for female scientists. When I looked up Laura Mulvey, an important scientist in the field of my study, it turned out that she also did not have a Wikipedia page in Dutch. I then decided to create a page for her (although not under this username, because I did not fully understand how Wikipedia worked (still). I am now determined to ensure that there are more pages for famous women, people of color and queer people, especially in the field of literature and film.
