I am not a professional biologist, but i really love all kinds of living things, especially land snails and slugs, bivalve molluscs, arthropods (mainly insects) and some vascular plants!!! I love finding scientific books and reading about distribution and biology of my local species. Information about many species can be hard to find online and not every book is freely available on the internet. As such I'm hoping to expand and create more articles about land snails, land slugs and bivalves which belong to the 2nd largest phylum of animals, but have very few well-made articles on Wikipedia. A lot of the information I add comes from Russian sources which can be easily overlooked by people who don't speak the language (thankfully the majority of important Soviet/Russian zoological and botanical works are accessible online). I hope that in the future I will be able to make articles about some other animals and non-animal organisms too.
Occasionally, I also fix names of mollusc photos on Wikimedia Commons when those have been misidentified (mostly European species).
