About Me
I joined Wikimedia Uganda in 2018, and I'm based in Kampala, Uganda. I am a women's human rights defender. My passion is internet freedom and digital rights, human rights, gender and ICT, research, policy analysis, volunteering and writing.
My Work
I was part of the Core Organising Team 2022 for Wikimania. Before Wikimania, I was the Scholarship Lead for the Wiki Indaba Conference in 2021, and I additionally supported the communications department at the conference.
I have been organising WikiForHumanRights and WikiForRefugees from 2019 to 2024. I am leading the organisation of Wiki Loves Earth from 2022 to 2025. In 2024 and 2025, I led the organisation of Arts and Feminism in Uganda.
Additionally, I have been involved in global advocacy work of the Wikimedia Foundation on the Global Digital Compact and Copyright and Intellectual Property work.
