The university was founded in 2014 and is located in Haddah District, Faj Attan, Beirut Street, in the capital city of Sana'a. The university seeks to offer educational programs that comply with accredited academic standards at both the local and international levels.

Facilities and Infrastructure

The university provides a range of applied laboratories and facilities, including:

• Medical Laboratories: Anatomy Lab, Histology and Pathology Lab, Microbiology Lab, Analytical Chemistry Lab, Phantom Lab (for dental students), and dental consultative clinics.
• Engineering Laboratories: Control Lab, Mechatronics Lab, Measurement Lab, and Petroleum and Gas Engineering (Reservoir) Lab.

Partnerships and Accreditation

The university operates under the supervision of the Yemeni Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and maintains cooperation and training partnerships with several local institutions, including Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Sana'a, the Commercial Bank of Yemen, and the Higher Education Information Technology Center.

Centers

Center for Development and Quality Assurance

The center seeks to contribute to achieving the university’s vision, mission, and strategic goals, enhance institutional performance, and achieve quality-related objectives.

Center Functions:

• Preparing quality and development plans in coordination with concerned university entities.
• Submitting annual and periodic reports to the university president regarding performance and challenges along with recommendations.
• Monitoring the implementation of quality standards and academic accreditation requirements.
• Establishing communication channels and cooperation agreements with quality and accreditation institutions locally and internationally.
• Assisting colleges and administrative units in establishing internal quality systems and obtaining academic accreditation.
• Supervising the development of academic plans, programs, and curricula in line with quality standards.
• Developing mechanisms for evaluating stakeholder satisfaction.
• Monitoring developments in quality and accreditation at national and international levels.
• Documenting quality and accreditation efforts and maintaining organized performance reports.
• Providing technical support and consultation related to quality and accreditation activities.
• Leading and coordinating self-evaluation studies for all academic and administrative units.
• Conducting periodic performance evaluations and reporting results.

Training and Qualification Center

The Training and Qualification Center at Emirates International University is a specialized training center that provides high-quality professional and technical training programs to meet the needs of university affiliates (academic and administrative leadership, faculty members, assistants, staff, and students) as well as individuals and institutions outside the university.

The center focuses on equipping trainees with the skills necessary for professional success and offers diverse training programs in administrative, computer, engineering, medical, community, business administration, information technology, engineering, health, education, law, finance, human resources, marketing, sales, customer service, quality, occupational safety, and self-development fields.

The center is distinguished by qualified and experienced trainers, modern facilities equipped with advanced technologies, and offers short-term, long-term, and customized training programs.
