Ghost of Sparta:

Deimos, eldest brother to Kratos, was a deuteragonist and partial antagonist in the PSP game God of War: Ghost of Sparta. He, like Kratos, was a demi-god son of Zeus and mothered by Callisto, while having the distinct feature of red markings on his face.[1]After Deimos was born, a very fearful Zeus heard about the prophecy of "The Marked One", and sent out both Ares and Athena to hunt down the one that would "bring the fall of Olympus".[1] Eventually, Deimos would be captured by Ares, and sent into the "Domain of Death" so that "The Marked One" prophecy would never come to fruition. When Kratos learned that his brother was alive, he ventured deep into The Underworld to retrieve his brother. Unfortunately, the decades of torture inflicted upon Deimos caused him to have nothing but hatred towards Kratos, and the two brothers fought, with Kratos coming out as the victor, but not killing his brother. [1]Thanatos, the God of Death, would learn of Deimos' freedom, and fought the two brothers. Both had been reunited for one last time, but Thanatos would eventually kill Deimos. Once Kratos avenged his brother by killing Thanatos, Kratos would bury Deimos' body next to his mother, with Kratos swearing revenge upon the Gods for taking away his family.[1]

God of War III:

During a mission in the underworld, Kratos discovers multiple notes that include pieces of lore from past games. One of these notes details his mother stating how everyone who got close to Kratos, would die.[1]During one of the final cutscenes in God of War III, Zeus and Gaia argue amongst each other, with Zeus making reference to Gaia "choosing the other one"[1], implying Deimos, as he was the original "Marked one".

During an off-hand interaction between a much older Kratos and Freya, Kratos mentions how the Gods of his homeland were plagued with fear and took Deimos to avoid a prophecy, but eventually the prophecy would come true. When Kratos learned of Deimos being alive, he sought him out but could not get his brother to love him, due to all the hate Deimos had gathered up from torture and thinking he had been forgotten.[1]
