Naveen Raj Sankarapu (pronounced [nuh-VEEN sun-KAR-uh-poo]; born 31 March 1992) is an Indian Actor who primarily works in Telugu cinema. He is known for portraying lead, supporting, and antagonist roles in films and web series.
Naveen began his acting career with independent suspense thrillers before transitioning into mainstream regional cinema. He made his debut with the Telugu film Aranyamlo (2017), where he appeared in a second lead role.
Early life and education
editNaveen Kumar Sankarapu was born on 31 March 1992 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree before entering the film industry.
Career
editNaveen Sankarapu started his acting journey in Telugu cinema through independent films and thriller dramas. Over the years, he established himself as a versatile actor by performing lead, villain, and supporting characters.
He played Main lead in film Therachaapa, Lambasingi, and Yatra 2, where he portrayed the role of politician Kodali Nani. He also appeared in commercially successful Telugu films including Salaar, Devara: Part 1, Bheemla Nayak, and Bangarraju.
Apart from films, Naveen acted in the web series * Harikatha at Disney+ Hotstar, playing the role of Veerababu.
