Etymology

Knapping, not to be confused with napping

The "Lomekwian" is in reference to the Lomekwian stone tool archeological industry (basically rocks crudely fractured into sharp cutting edges, useful for butchering carcasses and for sharpening sticks into spears) from 3.3 million years ago, arguably the first uniquely human (or perhaps more accurately homininan) technology ever made and one of the the enablers of humanity's meteoric rise to power.

The "Llama" is in reference to both the eponymous cute (albeit spit-prone) animal, and also to Large Language Models (LLMs), such as the one making use of the same wordplay, for which there is moderate risk it will end up being one of the last uniquely human technologies and one of the enablers of humanity's eventual fall from power.

Together they form a pleasant alliteration.
