About me
editI am Emmanuel Kwame Vaughan Eshun, a Wikipedia contributor since June 2015. I am a Full Stack Developer and Web Application Architect based in Accra, Ghana, with experience building web platforms and enterprise systems across Africa and the UK.
On Wikipedia, I focus on Ghanaian music, culture, and public figures, with an emphasis on improving sourcing, neutrality, and coverage of underrepresented topics within Ghanaian and West African music.
I have also participated in Wikimedia technical and community initiatives, including regional hackathons and collaborative editing projects.
Disclosure
editI may contribute to articles related to individuals or organizations I have worked with professionally. In such cases, I follow Wikipedia’s conflict of interest guidelines and prioritize neutral, well-sourced content.
Focus area
editMy primary area of contribution is Ghanaian music and related cultural topics, including:
- Musicians and producers
- Gospel and contemporary music figures
- Music groups and industry contributors
- Discographies and music releases
I focus on improving sourcing quality, removing promotional tone, and strengthening underdeveloped articles within Ghanaian music coverage.
Articles created
editThis is a maintained list of articles I have created or significantly expanded.
Article development work
editIn addition to creating new articles, I contribute to improving existing Wikipedia articles by:
- Expanding biographical and career sections
- Improving citation quality and reliability of sources
- Updating discographies and release information
- Removing promotional or non-neutral language
- Strengthening structure and encyclopedic tone
I am particularly focused on improving the quality and sourcing of Ghanaian music-related articles.
