Installation

Copy the line importScript('User:Kingsacrificer/BookCover.js'); // Backlink: [[User:Kingsacrificer/BookCover.js]] and paste it into your common.js file.

Alternatively, click the Install button on the top of the page

This script is useful in uploading a book cover directly from a book article page.

The script uploads the file under fair use rationale.

The link 'Upload Book Cover' will appear in the Tools menu.

Article - The name of the book article. Should be auto-populated if you are on the book article's page.

Author - Either enter the book author's name or the publisher's name.

Source - The URL of the source where you found the book cover.

Checkbox 1 - To confirm whether you want to add the cover to an Infobox

After clicking upload the filename will appear in the widget. If no errors occur, the script will automatically add an 'Infobox Book' to the article and embed the new image in it.
Removes any infobox or infobox cover related flags from talk page banners (if present).
