Biography
Paul Kell was born in Los Angeles, California, USA. Following graduation from high school in Modesto, California, he served 4 years in the U.S. Navy as a radioman during the Viet Nam War years. Thereafter he attended Columbia College located at Columbia, Calif Where he earned an A.S. Degree. He attended Humboldt State University located in Arcata, California during his 3rd year and then he matriculated and graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1982 with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree DC located in Davenport, Iowa.
Career Paul Kell practiced chiropractic 26 years in San Diego, California. During his first 9 years he co practiced with a podiatrist and was the recipient of severe cases of plantar fasciitis that failed conservative Podiatric intervention. As a result of examining the weight bearing feet X-ray films,an observable shift in the affected heel at the Calcaneus that measured a large displacement of 6mmm was Adjusted to reduce this large Subluxation of the Calcaneus completely which was observable on a comparison X-ray. The name of this line of Radiographic measurement is “Kell’s Line” that is listed in the Abstract under the Author Index of Index Medicus under: Kell P.M. “A Comparative Radiologic Examination for Unresponsive Plantar Fasciitis” in J.M.P.T.,1994.
In 1997, he discerned the neurologic reflex associated with the posterior Calcaneus subluxation and is named as a research contributor in the college text, the Activator Method.
Since retiring in 1997, he continues to practice chiropractic part time in the Kingdom of Thailand.
