The Kingdom of Xalisco (from the nahuatl: Xalisco "place upon the sandy ground") was a pre-Columbian lordship or tlatonazgo whose inhabitants belonged to the Pinome ethnic group, although it was also populated by Cora, Huichol, Totorame, Coano, Tecoxquin, and Ameca peoples. Its origins and development span the period from the classic to the late postclassic period.

It had its own coat of arms, and existed based on available records from at least 618 to 1532 AD. Its capital was the settlement of Xalisco (located in the present-day municipality of Xalisco, Nayarit), and its territory encompassed settlements within the current Nayarit municipalities of Xalisco, San Blas, Compostela, Tepic, San Pedro Lagunillas, and Bahía de Banderas, as well as the Jalisco municipalities of Mascota, San Sebastián del Oeste, Atenguillo, and Mixtlán.

Its principal settlements included Tepique, Atemba, Pochotitán, Tecuitazco, Xalcocotan, Zacualpan, Xaltemba, and Mazatán. The center of this kingdom was located on the slopes of Mount Coatépec, an elevation reaching 1,560 meters above sea level that overlooks the entire Matatipac Valley, in the present-day municipality of Xalisco. It was surrounded by other kingdoms, such as the Kingdom of Aztatlán (or Chiametla) to the north, the Kingdom of Xécora, the Kingdom of Colotlán, and others.
