Kia ora! I'm Sophie (she/her), I've been editing sporadically since the end of 2024, and hope to do a lot more. I have a background in zoology and science communication.
I am the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand (WANZ). I will edit event pages and post announcements relating to WANZ, but my article editing is done independent of this role and does not reflect WANZ. I should also mention that I am married to the great-great-grandson of Joseph Sparrow, who was one of the builders of the submarine Platypus.
