nach Art. 1 AEU-Vertrag sind beide Verträge rechtlich gleichrangig und werden gemeinsam als „die Verträge“ bezeichnet.

which means: Together they form the basis (...) of the political system of the EU;
according to article 1 TFEU they are both ‘equal in rank’ and are collectively referred to as "the Treaties".
