First 24-hour self-service dog boarding facility in the world
editA 24-hour self-service dog boarding facility located in Pujut 7, Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia, was established in June 2024. The facility allows dog owners to independently check in, check out, and monitor their pets at any time using a mobile app. It operates without on-site staff, utilizing automation and surveillance systems.
On 10 March 2025, the facility was certified by the Malaysia Book of Records as the first 24-hour self-service dog boarding centre in the country.[1]
The centre is operated by Logility A Plus, a company based in Miri. It was founded with the aim of offering flexible boarding options for pet owners through digital technology.
The facility has been covered by national and local media for its unique model. In January 2025, *Free Malaysia Today* published an article describing how the service works and its convenience for pet owners.[2]
Another article in The Borneo Post also featured the service, highlighting how customers interact with the system and its features.[3]
