Hi,

I'm editing wikipedia under my real name (for now). I'm currently a Philosophy student at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. I'm pretty much a wikipedia novice, but I've been making the odd edit here and there and thought I might as well make myself an account to go with them. I have a fairly diverse range of interests both within and outwith philosophy, but my principle areas of concern are the Philosophy of Mind, particularly the work of Daniel Dennett, Metaethics particularly the work of Simon Blackburn, Political Philosophy, particularly Liberalism, certain areas in the Philosophy of Language and Metaphysics - mainly concerned with Reference - and the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein and David Hume.

Outside of philosophy I'm an activist for the Liberal Democrats and for my sins am chair of Cambridge Student Liberal Democrats and I've been known to row badly on occasion for my college's boat club. Before coming to Cambridge I lived in Rutherglen and attended Stonelaw High School.
