ST Andromedae

edit

ST Andromedae is a carbon star included in the RASC handbook's carbon star list and it is visible in almost any telescope. More information can be found about this star by searching other sites on the Internet.

Some time ago ST Andromedae was deemed to be too insignificant to have it's own English language wiki page. So the English wiki page covering it has since been removed. But I had already taken the picture and uploaded it to the Wiki Commons specifically for that page. The picture is still in the commons so it should probably be used somewhere. And so here it is.

Update: The new Russian language wiki at ST Андромеды covers ST Andromedae and it includes this photo.

RR Herculis

edit

RR Herculis is a carbon star located in the Hercules constellation. It's spectral type is SC5.5-C71e and the star's colour is the deep red typical of most carbon stars. In the image below, RR Herculis is the red star in the center.
