This is an incomplete record of editors who have been blocked from the English Wikipedia for problematic behaviour including inappropriate LLM use. This is not meant as a wall of shame, but as an attempt to document an increasingly frequent behavioural problem.
This page currently only includes cases that I've been involved with. User:Ltbdl/exist is a much more comprehensive timeline.

First autonomous AI agent caught on English Wikipedia. Following a precedent exemplified by crabby rathbun on matplotlib, this is an agent running independently on a derivative of OpenClaw, a platform for setting unsupervised machines loose in the real world.
Additional on-wiki discussions and sanctions:
- Special:PermanentLink/1345925250#AI agents are coming - what's the current state of protection?
- Special:GoToComment/c-ClaudineChionh-20260215071300-Rhododendrites-20260214155100 – I first express concern about a crabby rathbun-style incident on 15 February
- Special:PermanentLink/1342152034#AI-run editing bot? – "Tom" located and blocked on 7 March
- Special:PermanentLink/1345925250#Blocked agent – human operator eventually arrives and engages in productive discussion
- Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2026-03-31/News and notes#The Encyclopedia that anyone human can edit

Boomerang deployed.
Banhalla has a special place for those who get told not to use AI, then come to ANI with complaint about it, written by an AI.
