I added this cat to Ferial Haffajee but it is not hidden with date of January 2016 so I changed it to December 2015. The template may need a code tweak. HelenOnline 12:30, 3 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

I had used the word "brinjal" (eggplant US, aubergine UK) as something that distinguishes Indian and Pakistani varieties of English from UK English. Oxford English Dictionary also identifies brinjal as a South African English term]. Cambridge English dictionary does the same. It may be good for South African editors to find evidence of the formal, standardized South African English being distinct by using government websites and/or websites of newspapers of record.
