Parameter change

Bioavailability needs to be disambiguated to Bioavailability (medicine). An editor moved the article, and now the base title is a disambiguation page. Natg 19 (talk) 20:24, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

- @DMacks sorry, please revert the change. The article move was reverted per RMT. Natg 19 (talk) 20:56, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

Please avoid an unecessary redirect by replacing [[U.S. Food and Drug Administration|FDA]] by [[Food and Drug Administration|FDA]]. Colonies Chris (talk) 20:57, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
No MeSH identifier in template
editHi, just making a topic/request for MeSH ID/terms to be added? There are MeSH templates already which is the only reason I would see the ID not getting added to the infobox. For example, Loperamide has the MeSH ID: D008139, or LSD has D008238; all of the drugs have MeSH IDs; as the template stands, the MeSH identifier or tree cannot be added to Wikipedia pages in the infobox:drug template. Hopefully this isn't a pointless post. Thanks

the property word-break should be updated following MDN's specifications.
the property word-break: break-all; causes issues where words are split in the middle rather than in hyphens, for example. this is especially unwanted with numbers ("10" turning into "1" // "0"). the correct property would be overflow-wrap: break-word;. below is a little demo:
word-break: break-all;
(6aR,10aR)-6,6,9-Trimethyl-3-pentyl-6a,7,8,10a-tetrahydro-6H-benzo[c]chromen-1-ol
overflow-wrap: break-word;
(6aR,10aR)-6,6,9-Trimethyl-3-pentyl-6a,7,8,10a-tetrahydro-6H-benzo[c]chromen-1-ol
the property word-break: break-word; is quite odd, since in the template, it is used to break up strings of identifiers. as such, it should be changed to overflow-wrap: anywhere;

- Old but possibly related discussion: Template talk:Infobox drug/Archive 10#SMILES problem. It seems that unless you allow it break mid-word there are some pages where the box is wider than the width of the screen, because there is nowhere to break. Pingyangmycin was given as an example. â Martin (MSGJ ¡ talk) 11:03, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
Update DrugBank field to handle metabolites?
editHello. Can we update the DrugBank ID field to also be able to handle "metabolite" DrugBank entries? Here's an example: DBMET01359. Thank you. â AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 02:41, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
