Implementation date

edit

Shouldn't it be Transposition date instead? Doblecaña (talk) 15:04, 26 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Eur-Lex reference

edit

I suggest that an Eur-lex reference is added and recommended. The link to OJ is far less useful than a link to the normal Eur-Lex page. The latter gives the user easy access both to the different national versions of the legislation, as well as links to implementing acts, judgements etc. Compare e.g. http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=celex%3A31994R3295 (OJ, without context) to http://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/1994/3295/oj (with context). In my experience, editors typically add OJ links without any context, when using this template. I guess it is easiest to add, rather than to replace, the Eur-LEX reference. (Another possible addition would be to the European Parliament's page for this legal instrument, but that is accessible from eur-lex, see e.g. http://www.europarl.europa.eu/oeil/popups/ficheprocedure.do?lang=en&reference=1993/1024(CNS) ) Burlefot (talk) 19:00, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

There should be fields for ELI and CELEX. Kaihsu (talk) 12:49, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Legislative proposals

edit

This template should be adapted and used correctly for e.g. Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act. Kaihsu (talk) 10:00, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Date of legislative proposal

edit

We have many parameters for different key dates but one is missing: date of legislative proposal by the Commission. I suggest we should add a proposed field above the EPVote field. We already have a "Commission proposal" field in the preparative texts section so maybe this could read "Commission proposal date"? Or if that's too long, then just "Proposal date" or "Proposed".
