This regional WikiProject user template creates a userbox that indicates that you actively participate in WikiProject Iowa.
To join WikiProject Iowa, add your username to Wikipedia:WikiProject Iowa/Members.
Use

If you place the Wikitext {{User WP Iowa|invite}} on your user page, this template will display the following userbox:

Either of these will add your user page to the following two categories:
