Purpose

The {{lvow}} template (link to vowel) is used to link to types of vowels (e.g. front, open-mid, rounded, etc.). It is the vowel equivalent of {{lcons}}.

Examples

For example, {{lvow|close}} is shorthand for [[close vowel|close]].

Multiple arguments can be specified; e.g. to link to the individual components of a close back compressed vowel (as in Swedish and Japanese), use {{lvow|close|back|compressed}} → close back compressed
