{{FA inline}} (alias {{FC inline}}) is an inline Featured Content template, for use in user- and project-space lists of articles (or images, or whathaveyou). {{FL inline}} is a wrapper that defaults to linking to Wikipedia:Featured lists rather than Wikipedia:Featured articles.
Usage
editIt can be used just to generate the FA icon with a link to Wikipedia:Featured articles, and can also be given parameters to name the article (or list or whatever), to specify the time of featured content, and/or to give the date of promotion to FA (FL, etc.).
Parameters
edit|1=a.k.a.|article=(or first unnumbered parameter) – The name of the article; it will be linked for you.|2=a.k.a.|date=(or second unnumbered parameter) – The date of promotion to Featured, in whatever format is preferred|3=a.k.a.|type=(or third unnumbered parameter) – The type of featured content; must be the last word of the link to the FC page in question, and defaults toarticlesfor Wikipedia:Featured articles. As of this writing, other valid values are:lists,pictures,portals, andtopics.
