Denise Stoklos
edit- ... that Denise Stoklos's "essential theatre" involves minimizing her acting methods while maximizing "the power of drama"? Source: Stoklos has defined her performance work as "essential theatre," as "that which has the minimum possible gestures, movements, words, wardrobe, scenery and accessories and effects. And which contains the maximum power of drama in itself" (1992b, 5). (113)
- ALT1: ... that two scholars called Denise Stoklos "Brazil's most important solo performer" but also said that she is rarely acknowledged in Brazilian theatrical histories? Source: Denise Stoklos (1950), author, director, and Brazil's most important solo performer, comes from the south of Brazil, and is of Ukrainian extraction. ... Denise Stoklos, though a highly acclaimed and paid artist, works at the periphery of the theatrical establishment. Her solo performances and authored texts get little more than a passing reference in histories and overviews of contemporary Brazilian theatre. (7, 10)
- ALT2: ... that Denise Stoklos once "sent a fax" to Christopher Columbus? Source: One of the plays listed as creaed by Stoklos is 500 Years: A Fax from Denise Stoklos to Christopher Columbus (107)

Overall:
Article is new enough, long enough, well sourced, neutral and plagiarism free. Hooks are cited, I see the above concern over interest, but I disagree - I think ALT0 is suitable, and ALT2 is also very good. I put a ? at hook other as I wonder if ALT2 would improve if it was clarified whether it was the explorer or film director Colombus? QPQ is done. I think this could be approved shortly @Miraclepine:, thanks Lajmmoore (talk) 08:00, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Lajmmoore: Christopher Columbus (explorer) is far well-known than Chris Columbus (filmmaker) throughout the world, let alone under the longer name. Don't think piping it is necessary. ミラP@Miraclepine 15:31, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I don't think that's necessarily true for everyone - it was the director that first came to my mind, plus if it was the director then a fax might not neccessarily be unusual, whereas if the explorer it feels more explicitly intriguing Lajmmoore (talk) 16:41, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Lajmmoore: As an American who learned about Christopher Columbus' role in discovering America in grade school (minus the unsavory aspects which became more well-known in the COVID era), I'm surprised this was the case. So I'll just link the explorer to be safe. ミラP@Miraclepine 17:27, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
