Begged (song)
edit- ... that while performing her song "Begged" on Saturday Night Live, Olivia Rodrigo referenced her album cover by sitting on a swing?
- Source: Stereogum, The Line of Best Fit
- ALT1: ... that Olivia Rodrigo secretly premiered her song "Begged" at an invite-only show with a no-phones policy? Source: Stereogum (premiere), Stereogum (confirmation it's the same song)

I definitely would prefer going with ALT1 here as that's much more intriguing (minus the trivial bit of "a no-phones policy"). Not sure whether reviewing a 2024 nomination counts as appropriate QPQ for a 2026 entry here, though. It probably would be better to review something that's open AND from the current calendar year. Either way, article is more than long enough, and was submitted to DYK within a few hours of article creation. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 01:14, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review, SNUGGUMS. I have no issue going with ALT1. Could you point to any policy page that documents a timeline within which a QPQ must be used? I have not used this one before and it would seem completely appropriate for me to use it here. I will, of course, go on to review more open nominations in the future, but it is not something that is required immediately for this nomination.--NØ 02:57, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- You're welcome, and to my surprise, the page WP:Did you know/Guidelines said nothing about how recent your QPQ nomination must be. Perhaps it comes down to whenever your last DYK was and whether this was already used for its QPQ. As long as your prior DYKs used something else, it should be fine to go with the linked one here. - Yes, that was my understanding of it as well. So anything else required here for this one to have the approval tick?--NØ 03:24, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- Just link your most recent prior DYK nomination page here please so others can see proof that you weren't re-using a QPQ entry here. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 03:38, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

- @MaranoFan: reviewed for promotion. ALT1 is interesting+sourced and overall the article is good shape, but there are three {{citation needed}} tags, maybe because the sources seem to describe Dan Nigro's roles in the album rather than on this song specifically?
