There is rarely a need to specify parameters manually. While a case is active, it draws its data from /Data subpages of cases.
The following two parameters are sometimes used on active cases and need to be specified manually:
|behaviour=nowill remove the "Behaviour on this page" statement which appears by default on case talk pages.|shell-case=yeswill hide most of the casenav matter and is to be used if a case was created and closed by the same motion, such as in Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/COVID-19.

Used on arbitration case pages to provide links between the different phases and other top matter common between cases.
