Number of people speaking Zoque languages?

I came upon this page by chance, and I know next to nothing of the subject. There are two different numbers cited as the population who speak Zoque languages: 70,000 and 100,000. I don't know how to get the correct info, so I'm writing this here in the hope that someone with the relevant knowledge can help.
