editThe basis for the article was to consolidate scattered information from various Wikipedia pages (see history), then to extend. I made sure to mark in the history what came from where, if there is a better way than by comment (in particular one that allows to preserve the edit history), please let me know. editApparently, the relevant passage is
"The earliest known artifact with Zapotec writing is a "Danzante" (dancer) ... The Zapotec script appears to have gone out of use in the late Classic period."
Here, this was taken from Zapotec civilization, but it seems that copied that text from the Wikipedia, cf. the last version from 2015 (predating the blogpost): . So there is copyright infringement, but by . Chiarcos (talk) 11:49, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
