– With a valuation of $1 billion, mainstream media coverage, and active online communities like /r/Youniqueamua, the MLM scheme Younique clearly has much more reader interest and significance than an obscure album from two decades ago. feminist (talk) 16:14, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

False claims about losing money

edit

I never lost money with Younique the only people who lost money were those who never even tried selling their products or those who sold under cost I love Younique and I sell for them I have been selling for 2 years now and recruited 10 others who also never lost money  Preceding unsigned comment added by Noelle190 (talkcontribs) 14:49, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

While it's fine that you never lost money, unfortunately the testimony of one editor is not a WP:RELIABLE source. The reliable sources we have on the article at the minute indicate otherwise as to the monetary problems faced by some Younique sellers. --Ineffablebookkeeper (talk) 22:57, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Promo editing

edit

Please do not replace reliable sources (The Guardian, Wall Street Journal) by promotional fluff websites. We have reliable sources indicating it's a multi-level marketing system, that's what we should call it. Robincantin (talk) 23:13, 28 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Would this need some semi-protection? I've been debating it for a while since it does seem to be prone to promotional editing. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 17:16, 2 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
Nice of you to offer, @ReaderofthePack. At your discretion, but I don't mind keeping a watch on it. A revert doesn't take long. Robincantin (talk) 20:16, 4 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
As long as you think you have a handle on it, I'll leave it be - but any time you need a little help, let me know. I can start with a short burst of semi-protection and then work up to anything permanent. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 16:50, 7 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
