Yoshikatsu Yoshida and Eikatsu Yoshida are not the same person
editThe biographies of Yoshikatsu and Eikatsu Yoshida have been merged into one here. I suspect the confusion comes from the fact that Sports Reference lists Yoshikatsu as the father of Saori Yoshida, but this is incorrect. For confirmation, check out the sources listed at Japanese Wikipedia:
- Eikatsu: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%90%89%E7%94%B0%E6%A0%84%E5%8B%9D
- Yoshikatsu: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%90%89%E7%94%B0%E7%BE%A9%E5%8B%9D
- Saori: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%90%89%E7%94%B0%E6%B2%99%E4%BF%9D%E9%87%8C
Note also that Eikatsu's obituaries do not mention any Olympic participation or gold medals. Eikatsu is the father of Saori and he did die on March 11, 2014, but he was not the Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler. Canadian Paul 21:27, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
