Term is practically not used

edit

After Loukotka (1968) proposed the term, practically nobody used it for 50 years. It seems that there not enough WP:SIGCOV. The second link in sources here points to a 1958 work that predates the establishment of the term. Викидим (talk) 04:17, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Kwamikagami: Dear colleague, I had noticed that you have removed the hatnotes, are you planning to provide the independent sources for SIGCOV? TIA, Викидим (talk) 04:30, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
If you want to move the article to a more common name, be my guest. The name isn't important. — kwami (talk) 04:36, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
I do not know this name, unfortunately. There is a Xukuru language, of course, but this article is about a language family. Can you help me? Викидим (talk) 04:44, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
The family is also called 'Xukuru', but that's a bit ambiguous. 'Xukuruan' helps with that. I don't know any other name for the family. — kwami (talk) 04:46, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
I was unable to find any detailed sources for "Xukuru language family" in either Google books or Scholar (to be precise, there is a single mention in this context: ). Викидим (talk) 04:55, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
